The Redwood Cafe: A Hidden Gem in Whetstone, London

I absolutely love this charming little Cafe’ surrounded by greenery. The coffee is excellent, and the sourdough cheese and tomato toastie with extra oregano is my favourite. Leo the owner, and Grace are incredibly welcoming and make a real effort to give each customer personal attention.

Wonderful little cafe, located in a lovely little park, which I only found out existed today A sign needs placing from the main road to this place, as it is totally oblivious from an outsiders perspective that this place is even here.. On trying the soup of the day (Mexican Pinto Bean), I'd have to say what a absolute joy; exactly what the doctor ordered in this freezing weather! Definitely be back at least once a week for the soup of the day #delicious Customer service was a delight 5* Would recommend on overall experience

This place is incredible! Coffee is amazing! And the food? Fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. don’t skip the pastries! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular from day one. If you’re looking for a cafe that truly stands out, this is it. Highly recommend! PS: you must try burgers!

I think I’ve just had one of THE best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had from here. Absolutely splendid. Mouth watering ingredients and made with precision and care. Egg, perfectly done and the sausage patty and bacon were delightful! The fact that I had the option of sourdough bread too was a real bonus. All in all, the perfect breakfast sandwich! Yum yum! Thank youuuuu!

I have had the best sandwich I have ever had at this place! Gives a generous amount of salad on it with perfectly crisped bread. N this place has never failed to impress! Cheap prices for what you get as that sandwich was under 5.

I’ve always wanted to try this cafe because of the great reviews, and it did not disappoint! The cafe is in a beautiful park setting, and the food and drinks are fantastic. The staff are incredibly kind, they take the time to chat with customers, especially local elderly visitors who come alone, which is so thoughtful, especially in todays world where everything is so fast. The sandwiches are delicious, the soups are amazing, and the drinks are excellent. My sister, niece, and I keep coming back because everything is just so good! We also love the homemade cakes. But more than the food it's the kind staff. Make sure you visit!

Spoilt for choice at Redwood cafe. Discovered Leo also makes great soups, as well as everything. Today was Mexican pinto bean. Perfect with some of his home made sourdough bread on the side. Perfection! Very rare to get this level of attention to detail and very nice staff too.

This is a fantastic place to eat or grab a hot drink, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Many of the hot and cold dishes are homemade, and Leo and Grace create a friendly, welcoming environment. They offer delicious cooked meals, amazing desserts, and homemade cakes. In the summer, there's a great selection of ice cream. The coffee is excellent, and there's a variety of other hot and cold drinks to choose from. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it's the perfect spot to relax with a coffee or to grab a bite to eat.
